The college represents a blend between quality education for its students and their social commitments. In discharging their true responsibilities for the people, the students have actively participated in many social events. To name a few:

Annual Day 'The Prelude' was celebrated on 24th January,2019. Chief guest was Prof.(Dr.) Santanu Kumar Acharya, a National Sahitya Academy Award winning Indian writer.Prof.(Dr.)Jitendra Narayan Dash, famously known as Dash Benhur, an eminent Indian writer and Dr. Sanjeeb kumar Sahoo, an eminent scientist were felicitated. Annual magazine' The Abhipsa' was released. Mr. Pratap Chandra Jena, Chairman; Prof.(Dr.) B.K.Pattnaik, Group Director; Prof.(Dr.) S.P.Mishra, Director PJCMT and Mr. Sanjay Ku. Das, Principal, PJC were present.

A library in the name of Late Panchanan Jena was inaugurated on 24th January, 2019 at Jharpada High School.

The Communal Harmony Campaign Week was observed by PJ Group. Dr. B.K Pattnaik, Group Director and Dr. S.P.Mishra, Director PJCMT addressed the faculty members, staff and students on 21st Nov.,2018. Donations were voluntarily collected which was sent to National Foundation for Communal Harmony.

On the occasion of Children's Day, the birthday of our beloved first Prime Minister Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, essay and debate competitions were organized in the college.

Diwali, the festival of lights was celebrated in our college on 6th Nov. 2018 as pre-diwali celebration. Dr.B.K.Pattnaik, Group Director of the PJ Group has lighted the diya in the presence of Dr.S.P.Mishra,Director, PJCMT with faculty members and students.

An Industrial Visit of BBA and BCA students to SEBI was organized on 4th Oct., 18

A programme named "My India, Golden India" was organized by 'Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidhyalaya' on 23rd Sept,18 at PJ College Campus.
